It feels like I'm launching into a new universe. This is my first entry....
This blog is for the posting of everything I am learning in Torah study and to invite others to add their comments, share their excitement (and/or frustrations) about Torah study, to post comments on my D'var Torah and submit your own to share.
For inspiration in Torah Study this is from the Sefet Emet:
“'If you walk in my ordinances': the meaning of this is that the human being is referred to as walking, but the ministering angels are referred to as standing. Because the angels know and understand the meaning of the mitzvoth and they have no need to labor in understanding them. Therefore their reward is not great. Not so for human beings, who labor intensely in Torah and even thought they do not arrive at a full understanding, they fulfill the mitzvoth because they have been commanded by God, and therefore their reward is greater.”
